How to Join the MSA
The $30 family club membership on this site is offered for the convenience of potential members who cannot easily contact a local club. $15 of your payment is credited to the local club which you select; $15 is retained by the MSA. Each club sets its own fee for membership, some for more and some for less than $30.
If you would prefer to join directly through the club, contact them using the information on the Club List page or drop us an e-mail with your request and we’ll e-mail back a contact name and phone number, or email address if available.
Membership for the upcoming season
The 2023-2024 Season starts October 1st 2023. Cards and club packets have been delivered in your area. Contact your Regions VP to see where your Clubs packet is. If you are missing any items or need more supplies contact the MSA Office.
MSA Membership – Individual and Family
MSA Memberships runs from Oct. 1-Sept. 30. Memberships submitted at this time will be valid for the 23-24 season, and expire on September 30, 2024.
Members receive:
- Subscription to the Maine Snowmobiler newspaper
- Membership decal
- Eligible for the MSA scholarship program (must be a member for 2 years, and enroll by January 1 of the current season).
Supporting Business Membership
MSA Supporting Business Memberships may be purchased through your local snowmobile club. You can contact them using the club list, or Contact Us at the MSA and we’ll provide you with the contact name and phone number of the club’s membership chair or president. Each club sets its own price for the business membership; $23 of the fee is sent to the MSA for state affiliation. Memberships Run from Oct. 1-Sept. 30.
Supporting Business members receive the following:
- Season’s subscription to the Maine Snowmobiler
- A listing in the Maine Snowmobiler on the Supporting Business pages
- MSA decal and certificate to post in their place of business
- Discounted advertising rates in the Maine Snowmobiler
- A listing on the back of the following year’s ITS map (statewide map of the interconnected snowmobile trail system).
During the 2022-2023 snowmobiling season, 2100+ businesses chose to show their support of the MSA and MSA snowmobile clubs by becoming Supporting Business Members.
Services
Among the services provided by the MSA are an on-staff lobbyist promoting Maine snowmobiling before the state legislature.

Club members have the option of participating in trail work, fund raising, membership drives, social activities etc. Just contact your club and let them know how you would like to be involved.
